Needle and Thread

I remember when I was younger trying to learn to sew. Some of my clothes needed repair. I was not very good at it! In this month’s article we will be looking at repairing lies you have believed about your learning.

The lie that needs a needle and thread in my life right now is that I’m to old to learn new things. Lately I have had a tendency to give up on complicated learning projects. Especially if the process is new to me.

We don’t ever want to disconnect from effort by believing a lie about learning new things.

Believing lies reduce the joy of living! Try this process for working on your brain lie:

  1. Ask Jesus what is the lie I’m  believing about Him and my brain
  2. Ask him who do I need to forgive back from when it first happen? Believe  it or not forgiveness is a big part of change!
Ask Jesus what is the truth?
Replace the lie with the truth
With the help of the Holy Spirit it works!
