The Biochemistry of Spending Time With God

Biochemistry of God!

Dr. Johnett Thatcher D.C. presented some interesting ideas on a Gretchen Rodrquuez podcast. I would like to summarize what I got from the presentation in my own words.

The ideas that were presented dealt with breath prayer and its ability to change brain wave patterns. Beta Brain wave patterns are not as productive in healing the body as is Alpha brain wave pattern which is much more productive for concentration. We all need to practice concentration as a helper in memory retention.

The process is as follows:
Breathe in for 4 counts through your nose. Then 5 counts out slowly. While you are breathing make affirmation statements to Father God. I use “Father I belong to you” next breathing rotation I use ” Father God Bless your holy name.” MAKE A LIST OF YOUR OWN AFFIRMATIONS. If you are visual you can make pictures of you loving God during your breath time.

The idea is to breathe into the Lord.

In Revelation chapter 2 “Christ’s letter to Ephesus, Jesus asks people to develop a passionate love for Him.  Open your heart to the Lord.”To the one who overcomes I will give access to feast on the fruit of the tree of life that is found in the paradise of God.”

In other words practicing loving Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, concentrating through your breath prayers is a good starting point. I bet it will help your memory too.
Doing this exercise 10 minutes a day 3 times a day has developed a chemical cascade of positive changes in my body.

Write to me and let me know how it goes. Let the love flow.
